We will tailor the events to meet the needs of you and your community. If you would like to host a Meet and Great, think a Town Hall would be best, or want to talk politics in a cafe, let us know and we will be there. We can also help set up and promote the event.
Please send your ideas and questions to NIPR@ so we can start the conversation.
Sincerely,
Your North Island Powell River EDA.
Let's have a ....
Community Conversation
It has been 18 months since the last federal election and a lot has changed. Prime Minister Carney offers a different kind of leadership. The trade war with the US has escalated. Canada is building our economy in a new way.
And yet, some things remain the same. For some people, life continues to be unaffordable. Wildfires and floods, exacerbated by climate change, wreaked havoc in many parts of Canada again this summer. We still need more affordable homes.
There is a lot to talk about.
That is why the North Island-Powell River EDA is launching a series called Community Conversations – events held in communities across the riding to share what the government is doing and hear your concerns and ideas. This is also a chance to learn how we can elect a Liberal MP in the next election.
